Michelle is a a fully bilingual, empowered minded individual with consumer, sales and marketing skills that aide in promotion of growth, learning, and profitability.
She possess well-developed leadership skills, with emphasis on training, motivation, and team building. She thanks God for her key strengths which include Spanish fluency, dynamic communications and translation skills, and project implementation skills.
Michelle has been active in the work force since 1983 working with various insurance carriers to secure the most comprehensive yet cost effective insurance for her clients. She is an independent insurance agent with her own agency "Collard Team Insurance Agency, LLC which she has profitably run and operated for the last 5 years working with over 20 carriers in all aspects of insurance from Life and Health to Property and Casualty.
Previously Michelle handled a position as Branch Manager for 8 years with Morgan Capital of Arizona, in which she managed a net branch of the mortgage brokerage with 13 employees under her supervision. She was able to consult and advise as needed with loan officers to increase production and assist with professional development needs by providing lender training on products, income and asset requirements, web-site training, and customized pricing classes. Training provided on outside lender products and correspondent lender products, as well as creative financing for both residential and commercial business.
During this time she and an associate decided to start an insurance agency within the same building as the mortgtage office and it was more successful then she anticipated. The partners part amicably and what started as Collard Furr Insurance Agency became Collard Team Insurance Agency which now continues to grow with more than just insurance, there is also a wealth of information taught so her clients may make an informed and empowered decision in choosing their insurance carriers and coverages. Now she has done it again starting Legal Writes, LLC which she works with Maria Celina Gil a Licensed Legal Document Preparer to help people complete legal documents they would otherwise be doing on their own. Again, success knocks at her door. She gives all credit to God for her drive and success.
